It's been a couple of weeks since my last post, sorry (if any of you are actually reading, lol.....?). I'm in the middle of my fourth year at university (Senior Year y'all!), so it's mountains of readings. November is usually the busiest. I'm sure many of you can relate.
Anyway, I wanted to make a post about DON'T TURN AROUND. In case you didn't know, it's a cover, and a fantastic pop music blog has done a feature on the song. POPEATSPOP is a great blog--bookmark it now! It's full of great research and facts about what happens when a song gets covered in the incestuous pop song industry. To quote the 15 year old version of myself from the old Ace Of Base message board (Teenage Heaven), "Record labels are WEIRD!". Hit songs can sometimes go through many incarnations in a variety of ways in a multitude of places around the world.
